The ideal candidate will have a strong service background & would be ideal for a Senior Service Advisor / Workshop Controller / Assistant Service Manager looking to progress their career within an exciting group and brand.
The Role
To maximise service sales and profitability by using professional sales techniques, and to run the service department in the absence of the Aftersales Manager.
To create customer confidence in the company by ensuring a professional performance.
To ensure the highest standard of courtesy and efficiency in customer contact and communication.
To record customer requirements and details accurately.
To record vehicle details and ensure every car that visits the workshop has an EVHC completed.
To effectively operate a service department loading system.
To monitor all Technicians productivity and quality of work.
The Person
· Previous experience arranging courtesy vehicles
· Previous experience invoicing including explanation of work completed
· Previous experience contacting customers to gain authorization
· Previous experience loading completed work onto a computer system
· Previous experience up-selling additional products to customers in relation to the work completed
· Ability to remain organised and methodical under pressure
· Ability to manage several tasks at any one time through to completion
· Previous experience of working with Kerridge would be highly advantageous.
· Professional manner and ability to work using own initiative
